Stop Domestic Violence

In the spirit of compassion and service, Safe Harbor International Mission proudly hosted a transformative conference in North Carolina focused on addressing domestic violence and spreading awareness about this urgent issue plaguing communities worldwide. Guided by our Christian faith, the event brought together survivors, advocates, faith leaders, legal professionals, and community members to foster understanding, healing, and proactive intervention.

Participants engaged in powerful sessions that illuminated the complexities of domestic violence—its causes, impacts, and the spiritual wounds it inflicts. Expert speakers shared practical strategies for prevention, safe support networks, and how the Church can embody Christ’s love by creating sanctuaries of hope and restoration. Survivor testimonies profoundly underscored God’s redemptive power and the courage to break cycles of abuse.

Safe Harbor emphasized the mission of honoring every individual as a child of God, deserving of safety, dignity, and peace. Our work extends beyond raising awareness—we seek to equip communities with tools to recognize warning signs, support victims, and challenge cultural stigmas that silence suffering.

As we look forward, Safe Harbor International Mission commits to expanding outreach efforts, partnering with local churches and organizations to establish ongoing educational programs and support ministries. Together, empowered by faith and truth, we stand firm in combating domestic violence and spreading God’s healing light into the darkest places.

Let us continue to pray, act, and serve, fostering safe harbors for all who struggle, and proclaiming the Gospel of love that brings freedom and restoration.
